Daejeon Subway Promotes Escalator Safety With Escalator Handrail Advertising

Holding escalator handrails is one of the best ways to protect yourself from falling on an escalator if it suddenly stops – unfortunately, many do not hold the handrail.

The Daejeon Subway selected ADRail to promote a series of escalator safety cautions by putting messages directly where they would have the most impact – at the hands of the escalator passenger.

EHC Expands To Korea

EHC has signed an agreement with Volta Power Systems Ltd of Seoul, Korea, as an EHC Distributor and Technology Licensee. Volta, will represent EHC products and services in the countries of South Korea and North Korea.

Volta has been an active EHC partner in Korea for many years and has a solid reputation in the industry. This latest step in the relationship with Volta has been several years in the making and both parties are excited to be moving forward.

Volta has been in business since the early 90’s in the field of industrial belting and has enjoyed great growth and success in the market-place. Volta’s President, Mr. David Kwon, has been involved in the rubber industry for many years and has escalator handrail knowledge and experience dating back 10 years.

EHC’s distributorship and licensing program was conceived in Europe in the mid-1990s and has met with a great deal of success. “Volta will be our second Distributorship / Licensee in the Eastern Region and will follow a business model which effectively establishes a full EHC product and service depot in the territory. EHC’s Korea Depot will be a one-stop shop for handrails, rollers, D-flector brushes, handrail guides and field splicing services,” said Mr. Patrick Bothwell, General Manager of EHC’s Japan office.
