Hello Jeno,
Let me take this opportunity to thank you for all the support I received from you over the last 5 years. Personally I'm surprised that it is only 5 years, because it feels like a much longer time. I'm also proud of this time and the farewell creates a laughing and a crying eye in me.
The laughing eye tells me that you will surely have a great retirement and I’m pretty sure to see you in person again. There are also the many memories of the great moments we had together from the past, which nobody can take away.
I wish you and your family all the best for the future, stay healthy and enjoy your life!
Many greetings from Mari and Henri as well.
Wolfgang Servas
Is it really? 🙁
Please enjoy your new life with your family and stay healthy ...thanks for knowing you!
I always thought of you as a permanent fixture at work, I guess in life we always have to adapt to change, never an easy thing to do.
EHC has been a great place to work and a lot of that is because of the people that are here and how they become a fixture in our daily lives. I want to thank you for the 20 years I have enjoyed here, knowing that under your leadership EHC is a company that makes a difference. I am reminded of the times that I had spoken with you over the years about an employee who was dealing with a personal tragedy and your first concern was always the employee, and that they did not go through undo hardship if EHC could help in anyway. Knowing this it made me very proud to be a part of the EHC family.
I also want to thank you for the opportunity you have provided both Steve and Jamie and therefore the ability for them to provide a home for their families and a career they both love.
Work aside, it has been great getting to know your family, and the “Brandy Shots” on those cold day up north!
You should be very proud of all that you have accomplished and all of the people you have helped along the way.
Walt and I wish you and Diane all the very best that life has to offer.
Keep safe, and enjoy the ride.
Hi Jeno,
Congratulations on a great career at EHC! If you put as much relentless effort into your next stage in life, as you have all the years you’ve been working at EHC, I'm sure you will have an amazing, productive, dynamic and long lasting next stage to your life (retirement?). Whatever you decide to do I wish you and your family much happiness and success.
From my entire family we wish to thank you for the great opportunities and experiences we've made while being part of the EHC team.
Greg
Thank you for making the world a better place.
We wish you a good start into your retirement, time for you and your family and for the things you always wanted to do.
Stay healthy!
Hi Jeno I hope everything goes great!! In this new stage of your life. I have had the pleasure of meeting you in Seville. To say that thank you very much for the opportunity to belong to the Ehc global team. Thank you very much and good luck.
Hi Jeno,
I would like to thank you for all the opportunities that I have been given here at EHC. The way you approach business and life have really inspired me. The thing I love the most about EHC is how it has always felt like a family. You have a big heart, and it can be seen by the way the company takes care of its people. My family and I can’t thank you enough for all that EHC has provided us. All the best to you and your family in the next phase of your life. We will all miss you.
Jeno, I’d like to think that over the past 15 or so years that I have managed to teach you a thing or two about accounting. I manage a small smile when you ask me to confirm a small complex finance question that you figured out before me . . . it happens much more now than it used to. At the same time, you have taught me much more about running a business than I ever expected to learn when I started here 21 years ago. It has been truly a pleasure working for you and with you for EHC. The growth that your visions have generated for the company are impressive – more than many companies can achieve in many lifetimes. Enjoy the retirement, and whatever comes next with it. Your presence at EHC will remain long past your physical attendance in the building.
Dear Jeno,
I hope you will not miss EHC to much 😉 EHC will miss you!
Enjoy the new things to come, enjoy your retirement!
In spite of the physical and hierarchical distance, Jeno has always been a reference for everyone... Any member of Ehc has always had good words at a professional and personal level of Jeno. I was lucky enough to share with you a few weeks between Spain-Germany and Paris and I could see for myself. In one of the trips by car to Paris He did not stop answering e-mails and we even took advantage of the hours of the trip to treat the matters of Spain. We did not lack either good moments and laughs, always from the respect!
When I was lucky enough to meet his wife and children I understood what a great person he was, they were the perfect match!
A heartfelt thank to you and your entire family for trusting EHC Spain time and time again, and for always making us feel protected and for the love and respect received.
You have set the bar very high!
I wish you and your family all the best
We will miss you.
Sandra

Although we had not too many chances to talk, I can say was a pleasure every time we could do it. Reading all the messages from all parts around the world, its a fact you did somethin big, supporting , helping, and leading by example day by day.
You can be proud of what you have done so far, and happy by the road ahead.
Happy retirement Jeno!
Jeno, I wanted to thank you for your great work at the head of EHC, as well as for your trust and closeness. Best wishes to you and your family!
Enjoy a new episode in your life and I hope to see you soon in Seville!
Wow! What a time it has been. Thanks for your leadership, thanks for the fun times, and thanks for making this whole adventure exactly that, an adventure. It could have been so much worse, it could have been just a job, but it was always more than that with you.
All the best, enjoy what comes next.
Jeno, I enjoyed very much working with you, we’re really going to miss your friendly and good-natured ways around here. I wish you and your family good times, good health, and good friends beside you in your retirement. Have fun with all the plans you have in this new journey in life!
Jeno, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as one of your reports and learned a great deal. You think big, do it big and seeing you in action has inspired me to do the same. Thanks and enjoy whatever comes next.
Jeno,
Ever since I was a young kid I've grown up around the EHC family. From attending the picnics at the water park when I was in elementary school, to you getting me drunk at a Gens game (and having me go into work hungover the next day), it's been fun getting to know you over the years. Thanks for all you've done for my family, and best of luck to you in the next chapter of your life.
Jeno (Big Guy), I remember when Shawn, Mouse as you affectionately called him, went for his interview end of September 1981 and started with EHC the following Monday, October 5th. He was so excited when he came home and told me all about EHC and you lol…. Ohhhhh the stories that we all share from so many years of being together, parties, functions, being co-workers and most importantly as extended Family!!!
Because of you, Ron, EHC’s work environment/culture and work Family, Shawn absolutely loved and was so very proud of his job and EHC. I was jealous of him being so happy and wanting to go to work, but so very thankful that he was so lucky to work for such an amazing company that also made him so happy! We have all grown up together at EHC, all in a blink of an eye….Weddings, Showers, Babies, Parties (always so much fun we never wanted to leave), Backyard BBQ’s, Bonfires, Boat Cruises, Golf, Horse Races, Family picnics, Children and Adult Christmas parties and so much more….time has flown by!!
From long hair, cut off coveralls, Don Johnson white suit and being carefree to President and CEO I know that Shawn was very proud of you and your multitude of accomplishments over the years. He would often come home and tell me how amazed he was at what you did at and for EHC and say “What a Guy”! He loved and respected you so much and so do I! You should be extremely proud that in all these years you have maintained your kindness, passion, patience, sense of humour, empathy, respect for others, strong work ethics and love for family and friends. You have proven time and again your relentless determination to succeed in everything that you put your mind to. You have always strived to reach for the stars and I know that you will continue to do so in your next Chapter, whether it’s a new work Chapter or your retirement Chapter.
This ride may be over for you and your beautiful wife Diane, but you are hopping onto a new ride. It’s time to start something new & trust in the magic of new beginnings, more great times and memories to be made, making the most of everyday for the rest of your ride!!
Congratulations on reaching this milestone, wishing you nothing but the best always. Enjoy your family time with Diane, Jake and Jill, it is well deserved. Cheers to you and your lovely family!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your love, friendship, support and generosity you have shown to our family over the years, it will never be forgotten.... Love Always Char and the Silver Family oxoxo
Retirement is not the end of the road, it’s the beginning of the open highway, something I can hear coming from both Ron & Jeno. This is an exciting time in your life long journey, you have both worked so diligently & successfully to build your career paths & this wonderful global business we all know as EHC & now you can both step back, appreciate & take a bow on not only how far you have come, but how far you have brought all of us forward through our lives & now it’s time for you both to look forward & do the things you love with the people you care about the most, your families. It’s been a long 37yrs since October 1983 when this 17yr old stepped in the doors of the Escalator Handrail Company, the smell of lethal chemicals in the air & a homemade car radio boom box pounding out the rock sounds on Toronto’s Q-107 radio station & then I was greeted & interviewed by a long haired rocker in cut-off coveralls (Jeno) who hired me on the spot & had me report to work the following day. It wasn’t a big place, 1 press an old Cameron Slitter (still in use today), splice table, packaging table & an area for steel tape prep – Wow look at us now a global leader in the heavy lift industry. I’m not quite ready to pack it in yet, but I would like to say from Lori & I, thank you both for (all the good & the bad times, for keeping us employed so we could start a family & continue to provide for them, for all the opportunities to grow & advance at EHC, for all of the events (summer picnics, boat cruises in Toronto harbor, bowling events, Christmas Parties, kids parties, being involved with charitable events with EHC) & who could forget the gatherings at your homes, you both made us all feel like family whether we were swimming in the lake or pool, sitting in the hot tub, playing pool, ping pong, shuffle board or volley ball, sitting around a fire later in the evening with another cold beverage or gathered around the old player piano, we were all family & this is what it was all about. Thank-you both for the life long memories of this extended family, all the best to you both in your future endeavors, congratulations on your retirement wishing you endless days with your friends & family. Forever friends & family – Kevin & Lori Morrow
I´m very grateful for everything you´ve done for EHC and for all of us. You are an example of leadership, of generosity. Hope you the best! God bless you!!! We will miss your visits here in Brazil!!!!
